Music

"Sing to the Lord a New Song!" (Psalm 96:1)

Adult Choir - The choir usually practices on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. from Labor Day through the Easter season, however, due to COVID-19 restrictions, music at Faith has been effected. Choir Director and Music Coordinator, Mavis Smith, is currently scheduling small groups to sing songs and hymns for worship. (For any music-related questions, you can contact the church office and we'll get you in touch with Mavis.)

Handbell Choir - The handbell choir also usually practices on Wednesday evenings. (Check the calendar for specific times.)  Brooke Aker directs the handbell choir.  New choir members are always welcome!

Sunday School Music - Preschool - 4th grade Sunday school children weekly music time during the Christian Education Hour on Sundays is currently on hold due to COVID-19 concerns. When able, they often sing during 10:30 a.m. worship service. The children prepare each fall for a Children's Christmas Service, held in mid December. At other points during the Sunday School year, the children sing at local nursing homes or assisted living centers.

Special Music - Faith Lutheran is blessed with many talented vocalists and musicians who regularly share their gifts with the congregation in our worship services. If you have a musical talent and would like to share it with the congregation, please get in touch with us at the church office and we'll connect you with Mavis Smith, our Music Coordinator.
